Nikki Cox is an actress who is most known for her part on the TV show Unhappily Ever After. She was born June 2nd, 1978 in Los Angeles, California. She has one brother who also is an actor.
Nikki Cox began acting while was just four years old. Her first roles were for dancing rather than acting though and she appeared in ballet productions and for TV programs. Her acting career began at the age of 10 when she got small guest roles on TV series like "Star Trek: The Next Generation", "Baywatch", and "Blossom", amongst others. In 1993, she received a starring role in the soap opera "General Hospital" and remained with the show until 1995. During this time, she also appeared frequently on the show "California Dreams".
In 1995, she got the role which would jumpstart her career. She was cast as the beautiful daughter Tiffany Malloy on "Unhappily Ever After". Cox was in over 100 episodes of the show which lasted until 1999. Her next role was highly sexed as a former prostitute on "The Norm Show". From 2000 to 2002, Cox was the title character in the sitcom Nikki, though it didn't survive two seasons. By 2003, Cox was starring in another successful TV series, this time a drama called "Las Vegas". She was on the show until 2007 and her character also crossed over into the soap opera "Passions".
Cox dated her "Unhappily Ever After" costar Kevin Connolly several years. In 1999 though, she was engaged to Bobcat Goldthwait. He was the actor who provided the voice for Mr. Floppy in "Unhappily Ever After". The engagement attracted attention because Goldthwait was 16 years older than Cox. They eventually broke up and Cox married Jay Mohr in 2006.
