Andrea Joy, that is also known as "A.J.", Cook has been born on the 22nd of July in the year 1978 in Oshawa that is situated in Ontario. She is a Canadian actress that is the most famous for her part in drama "Criminal Minds" as a Jennifer Jareau, a special agent. She could be seen in several films such as "Final Destination 2", "Out Cold".
She had spent all her childhood in Whitby. Her mother was a psychiatrist and father - a teacher. Andrea had two sisters and a brother. The girl was really fond of dancing from the very early years. Being at the age of four Cook was attending ballet and jazz classess. She was dancing with great pleasure for many years and rook a part in a lot of competitions. When the girl was 17 she suddenly came to a desicion that she wanted to try her hand in acting.
Her first acting experience took place in 1997 in the promo for McDonald's. Then she was offered a very small part in TV series "Goosebumps", followed by the appearence in films "Elvis Meets Nixon" and "In His Fathers Shoes". AJ was continuing to build her career with shooting in "The Virgin Suicides" in 1999. She was acting as a one of five sisters, fascinated by suicide. Then the girl was offered a part in "Higher Ground" as a teenage girl attending a school for hard children. There was only one season that ended with a beginning of relations with the character of Hayden Christensen, who co-starred in the series.
In September of 2001 Andrea has been married with her boyfriend Nathan Andersen with whom they were dating since meeting at Utah Valley University. In 2008 she presented her husmand with a daughter. According to Aj's words they are the happiest couple ever and they felt really blessed and lucky for being together and having such a wonderful child.
